Tahfiz student Wan Ahmad Faris's death
Unsolved: the reopened police probe ended in July 2026 with the Attorney-General's Chambers classifying the case NFA because no one could be charged, even though a coroner ruled in 2016 that an unknown person caused his death. The family's negligence suit against the government and police goes to trial in April 2027, and they plan new claims against the school, Yayasan Islam Kelantan and the Kelantan government.
